This trailer hitch comes from my Concord. That´s why it is "new". It is factory made, there has been a aluminium tag. Only thing left were rivets... Chromed hook was 3" too long because Concord has longer rear bumper. So I had to break it to pieces, cut it and weld together.

Congradulations!! That Eagle is going to be a real head turner!

Ive got a burning question I just have to ask ya, Its a bit off subject but....How rare are these cars over there? Were they ever sold over there or were they limited to the few that traveling americans brought over with them.

Eagles are very rare here in Finland. As far as I know we have now only 9 of these...

First one was imported by a private person who has his Eagle even today. He and his friends imported three more. They used local Jeep dealer to get these to Finland (shipping and such). My car came through U.S. Embassy in Finland. Three are private import by finnish people from european countries and one came from U.S. by a finnish lady... (that is in my garage, too)

Concords are very rare here also. I have seen only two of these. One 78 twodoor, very rusty parts car, and one 81 fourdoor. It is in my yard... It is possible that here are some more, but they are unknown to finnish AMC Club.

Here in Finland Ramblers and AMCs sold well, but after (if I remember right) 1974 finnish importer didn´t sell any AMCs, only european cars and Jeeps. After a couple of years Jeep got a new importer, finnish Chrysler dealer. So, still no AMCs.

It is summer... and holidays... and sun!

A lot of jobs to do...

Started painting rear hatch.

Have some black paint wainting. Now it needs little sanding and then paint. Black outside and brown inside.

It´s too hot now. Close 35 degrees! (celcius) close to 100 F... Cold beer...  :occasion14:
