I drove over 6 hours today to pick up an Eagle 258 engine that used to belong together with the #1 finnish Eagle! It had new engine (actually just long block) changed a couple of months ago.

I´m not sure yet. Maybe just save it, or put it together as running engine and testing injection with Offy intake... or 4.0 head and injection T5 transmission for my future (4x4) Hornet ...

If you go efi/head, definitely install the 4.0 cam as well, using its lifters and pushrods. Also, I'd recommend swapping to an AX15 if you go efi, they're far stronger than a T5 (unless yours is a World Class)

Today I did last weldings. A lot of finishing job and then paint. Black of course...

I had a new exhaust system made by finnish fabricator Martelius Exhaust. Perfect fit...
Old one had so much DIY parts that I couldn´t use its design at all.

Yes, slowly indeed... Too slow.  ;) But after years of sleep this is better than nothing.

Today I bought new floor drain plugs and sealed them with white putty. Like assembly line guys did...

As you can see I used black stuf to seal weldings like they were before. And after that I sprayed black body protection stuff to get factory stock look. I think some matt black (or grey) paint would give a nice touch... It´d look as new... Hmm... nice...
