New bondo added. And I have removed most of that white stuff... It is pain to sand. Paint under it is OK, so I want to save it...  :P

Right side fender had these spots, no paint there...

So why? When right fender was replaced, the painter didn´t remove that black primer before he painted it...  >:D
I removed all paint to prevent new spots in the future.

When I took my Eagle for its first drive it was wandering a bit on the highway.  Got it to my husband's work and he noticed I only had two lug nuts on each wheel and those were put on only hand tight.  The passenger rear wheel was actually wobbling on the drum but fortunately hadn't damaged the rim yet.  I did that while I was working on it in the garage thinking that'll be fine for rolling the car back and forth in the garage, never crossed my mind about it when I went to take it for a real drive.

Based on the pictures on the "other" projects, I think Juhap should host an International Meet so we can all try out his sauna!  ;D

Today I tried to get right fender to go together with door. No luck. This taiwan made fender is close, but... something is wrong. I have done cutting and welding before and now it needed new lower corner. I made a new piece and started to weld... Gas regulator of my MIG-weld went broken! Spent most of the day for nothing  >:D

I had to buy new regulator. Couldn´t find it here locally, so I had to drive an hour to get it... There is an IKEA next to parts shops, so... It was late in the evening when I got back home, and I spent much more money than regulator did cost (39,90€)...  :censored:

I know the feeling. Worked most of the day in the garage and got very little to show for it. I know everybody has days like these but it sure is fustrating.Guess tomorrow is another day.

Now those fenders look much better.... I sprayed a layer of body filler to them.

 Looks great as usual Juhap!

juhap

They may look great, but they are good enough to paint with matt or semi matt car paint...

Right side, that taiwan made, had been damaged in that second crash... a bad fender and a crash, not a good combination = a lot of bondo...  :censored:

Lower corner, testing new sheet metal

Front corner looked like this after I fabricated it... but this is Concord!!!

After cutting and rewelding it is now like this.

I had to remove this support bracket and relocate it... It didn´t fit at all. It had never been in right position!!

Started to work with rear corners...

This was the worst. So I´ll begin with it...

What was under that white paint... There were brown paint and some bondo... a lot of it!

Under brown original color there was a huge dent and several kilos of plastic body filler... >:D

That dent is very deep and large...

After little hammering... It didn´t take much time or work...

This is that same spot as before... Where is that massive wrinkle?
