OK...What´s new?

Driver side front door is OK now. Window goes up and down. "New" U-shaped seal did some miracles. Upper hinge got new 10 mm bolts, door do not hang any more. And some other small things done. Started my new sauna project and have collected tons of fire wood for next winters... and...

Now there are new brake calipers, hoses and lines. Needs bleeding. Some weldings done today. And there are new Strut Rod Bushings...

I had to replace driver side outer CV boot. Years ago I found a Speed Boot- brand CV boot. What do you think about these "bolt together" boots? Does it keep grease in and dust out of the CV? Or are these just waste of time and money?

I think it is time to bolt front fenders on and start to do some paint job. The idler arm needs some TLC... And there is something to do inside of the car and...

Any problems with the strut rod bushings? Where did you find them and are they rubber or poly.

This corner had before almost one inch of bondo!! Now 10 % of it...

Something done. Sometimes someone had painted this Eagle with some industrial paint or something like that. It is pain to sand old paint. There are bigger and smaller dents because someone has turned this Eagle upside down...

Today I painted a layer of wash primer and a layer of sprayed body filler...

It looks much better now.

Roof needs careful sanding and a lot of maxifiller primer. I´m going to do that after I´ve fixed fenders (front and rear), hood and doors. Hmm.... that means rest of the car...  :rotfl:

I bought a new set of wheels. This is a second set of centerlines. First set had too wide rear wheels. These were Centerlines. New set is Keystone Vortex...

There is no progress at all... Been busy... Holidays with kids in capital city of Finland, Helsinki and Denmark, Legoland... Have done some construction jobs.

A new place for an old sauna...

Here is a place for a chimney...

Yesterday I began to work with front valance panel. I noticed how bad it looked. So I did collect all panels together... and it was the best of them all.

I cleaned all under body protection and rust out of it. And started hammering. It took a lot of time...

After that it was quite allright, but it needed something to make it perfect. So I went to my school shop (it is summer holiday!) and did some rolling...

To be continued....

BTW: is this border between two colors like this from factory? I have two to-tone cars and the line is the same...

Thank you asking.... Constructing jobs are now resting.

I finished that valance panel, no paint though... And started to work with front fender. Driver´s side had some rust and minor damages that needed hammering. After sandblasting and grinding and hammering and acid primer inside of it,  it looked like this. Not bad... but there are paint chips  on the top of the fender. I had to sand that white paint... There  were two layers of white and one brown layer. Brown (of course) and first white were car paint, but the second white was some kind of house or furniture paint, enamel or such...  >:D

After sanding all the white layers and some primer it looked like this... I used paint thinner to clean the dust. What happened? That pinkish bondo became like jelly! So I sanded that too...
