Fold and stow seats from a minivan.  They are low profile and in the back, will fold down like the bench.  I'm going to try and adapt them to the power seart controld from the original seats.

I'm haggling over shipping w/ the seller.  He wants $240 for shipping on 4 seats!!!!!  Not going to happen.

That would be awesome.  Looking for a matched set of 4, black, brown or tan.  Maybe grey.  Don't care if cloth, vinyl or leather.  They just have to be low profile enougk and preferably fold flat and recline.  I'm not asking too much am I?   :P

I am looking for an auto shift cover so I can mount some floor gauges too.

We need to plan a time when we're both off.  It'd be awesome to hook up and hit a yard.  I have a TFI install this morning and I'm going to N U T T E R a Jeep and help the guy adapt his stock air cleaner to a Motorcraft.  What I'm saying is, if you need a hand wrenching on anything today I'll be in the shop for a couple of hours.

Scored a new set of wheels for Bucket today.  Well, not new, but you know....  Aren't they pretty?!?!?!

It pays to help people out.  These came off of a YJ I was helping re-add some emissions components to.  I commented on the new black steelies and he mentioned he had the aluminum set that came with the Jeep. 5 hours later, the Jeep was purring and I had a new set of wheels!

Scout's are awesome!!

Scouts have Dana 44 axles front and rear and are probably a perfect width for an Eagle. They are 5 on 5.5 versus the 5 on 4.5 Eagles and Cherokees have, so new axle shafts or swapping both axles in a solid front axle conversion would be needed to have matching wheels all around.

If the scout is a diesel, I need the bellhousing for my diesel eagle conversion. The diesel Scouts are crazy hard to find. This is my 1980 Scout Traveler:

If I recall correctly, didn't those have a nissan diesel?

Yes, a 3.3L Nissan SD33. They had a turbo SD33 like mine in 1980 only. Its the same engine AMC put in CJ10 towpigs for the air force, which were a mixture of turbo and non turbo, and AMC also put it in a few motorhomes and a small number of Australian and Japanese export full size Jeeps. If AMC would have put a diesel in an Eagle, instead of a conversion company that did the 1980 ones, they would have used an SD33 in my opinion. It is nearly identical in dimension as a 258. I put alot of information in a project thread and another diesel eagle thread here on the nest. Mine came with an extra engine and I will be buying a specially converted NV4500 to install it in an Eagle, once I find the bellhousing parts. My Scout has about 140 HP and gets at least 30 MPG.

That engine would be a good cadidate for a diesel swap into an eagle

Scouts also have a unique short speedometer cable worth getting. Using that cable lets you put a fuel injection vehicle speed sensor on the firewall next to the brake booster instead of cramming it behind your Eagle speedometer. Thats how I plan on doing all of my conversions.

Alot of Scouts came with an AMC 258. It had a unique starter with the solenoid intergrated into the body like an Iron Duke starter. That solenoid is much more reliable than the Eagle fender wall unit and able to be cheaply replaced seperate from the rest of the starter. I'm pretty sure it is a bolt in replacement and I will be getting a Scout starter with mine to compare and confirm. I hope to replace all my Eagle starters with the Scout unit.
