What gasket do you need?  I wonder if one of the shops by me has it and I can get it and send it to you.

Slowly getting back into the swing of things.  Tonight we got the exhaust back to 100% since the mishap we had a few months ago, cleared up the last of the oil drips, and did a little house cleaning on the engine bay.  We are finally ready to start moving back the car (transfer case is now wired into 4 wheel drive because I lost 2 wheel drive so a transfer case swap is in the near future). Here is a photo of the now completed engine

thanks, latter on down the road I am going to get metal lines to replace 99% of the rubber lines so that the engine bay it totally clean.

Tonight I am going to be removing door panels, seats, carpet, and the entire cargo trim to start getting the stereo system up to par.  Since the stereo I have in it is only a 2 channel  with preamp outs I picked up a 240 watt amp and some new rear speakers that will be run off said amp.  The seats are going to get a good scrubbing as well as the door panels.  If all goes well I will have the power mirrors installed and all of the new door locks on the car as well

Sweet! You going to add a subwoofer?  You would need a little bit higher watt amp for that though

nope, no sub woofer.  I value my cargo space and I don't need my car rattling to pieces.  10 years ago I would have had the cargo area full of amps and subs, but those days are long gone and forgotten ;D

thanks guys.  I never thought I'd say this, the parts pile awaiting install is just about depleted.  The only things left on the inside of the car I can think of is installing the satellite radio antenna, tinting the windows, and installing the headliner

Nope, it is not broken down or not running (this time).  For the last 3 days at work I have been commissioned to drive the company rollback.  Today was my last day driving that pile of garbage that they call a truck (the hydraulics work when they want to and it's really embarrassing when your at an accident scene and the dang truck won't fold the bed down or roll in).  Since it was my last day driving the truck during the day my boss asked me if I would take it to the other shop and park it so the usual driver can pick it up in the morning.  since the other shop is only 5 minutes away from where I live and I LOVE saving money on gas, I decided to just load my eagle up and take it along for a ride.  I got lots of honks and comments on the way and that felt kinda good (to be honest I dunno if they where honking because they liked the car or honking because they thought the car was being hauled for scrap, cause i rarely get honks or comments on the car while I am driving it)
