We plain on getting a tarp big enough to cover the whole thing for when it comes time to lay paint on the kammback.  We are also going to build a shed on the other side of it to house our welders, compressors, tools and spare eagle parts ;D

today has been the test on the hill, we opted for a set of the 3 foot auger style mounts that HF sells for 12 bucks and it really seems sturdy (it is still standing in the same position).  It does come with 1 foot spikes to drive into the ground if your putting it on black top or concrete.  This summer we are going to get some concrete slabs they cut out of the roads around here and lay them where it is sitting then move it back on them so that i can have a good dirt free floor for when the time comes to do some painting.

Now if it would stop snowing out side everything would be perfect

This is what my dad got me for my cars:

I like it a lot, just perfect for my cars to stay fairly covered and didn't have to build a whole seperate garage.

Hey, Robert, do you suppose he will get one for me, too? ;) ;D
Seriously, that's great.  I see them around here, too, but most aren't enclosed all the way to the ground.

They can get pretty torn up in the wind.  Holding them down isn't too much of an issue but after going through enough rain and sun, the covering starts to weaken, and then the wind can start to tear it up

I have an enclosed one I got from Northern Tool , I think it is 10 x 20. Reverend Bill has seen it : ) .The key is securing them to the ground, and putting them together square. I think mine was $179.It has a zippered roll up flap door on the front.I dug about 10- 12" diameter holes for the augers on all four corners and set them in concrete, then cabled the leg corners of the garage to the augers. The trick is having a nice level area and securing it down good.Mine gets pumeled with the wind alot. I will say though after it's third winter and sun, and wind it is starting to show some wear, after another year I might consider getting a new cover, hopeing they sell just the shell. It can be patched with regular tarp material , or so it says.I have one hole in it from a chunk of ice falling off the roof, catching in the wind and punctureing the top.I see alot of them in disrepair because of poor instalation. Not sure if I have a pic of mine.... Nice job Bill !!!

I really like the car port Robert.  I wish I could get one for the two vehicles that sit outside.  A guy down the street has a single car one like that for his truck and mower and snowblower.  Looks like it works pretty well.

I found a place that'll install them for $795, but I don't think my wife would let me get one.

got to messing with the wagon a little today.  a little tightening on the valve cover, checking fluids, and some other odds and ends.  The most major thing i did was replaced the old concord style steering wheel with something a little more sporty

the orignal concord style limited wheel with the wood grain top and bottom of the wheel

adding a little bit of sport to the old wagon, it took me many many many months to find one that was nutmeg (bought 2 honey colored ones before i realized/remembered i had nutmeg)  a poor 1982 wagon gave this little treasure up

Very nice.  I like the look of that new steering wheel.  Heck the old one you replaced even looks better than the one on my Eagle now.

Yeah, those skinny rimmed corporate steering wheels just don't fit an Eagles personna -- I have the same one in the Concord -- feels strange after driving the Eagle.
