Hello! Hello! Hello!

Something is going on...

I started working with this project again. I removed gas tank and rear axle. Shocks, rear pumper and so on are still there because bolts are very rusty.  :-\ But I´ll take all away, no matter what it takes...  :P  Car needs sandblasting and some welding under there, but nothing alarming, yet.

But there are some very rusty parts... For example this piece of pressed sheet metal...

No. I´m not gonna sandblast that one, just fabricating new one... I have already done new bands for gas tank.

How did you form those sharp compound curves?  I've done a fair bit of metal forming with hand tools, but that looks like it would be all but impossible  to do with hand tools.

Wow, that looks great! Maybe you should start making replacements for parts that are prone to rusting. I'll bet a few of us have some rusty pieces that could use replacing.

Excellent work Juhap.  Shipping from Finland would be terrible.  Time for him to move here.

Thank you...

But actually it was just a little rolling, cutting. welding and grinding... and time to spend... 2,5 hours of work.

Project goes on... Now there is nothing under the floorpan, but rust...   :'(

Next thing is to order some spare parts, bushings, handbrake cables, fasteners, bolts and emission/fuel/brakelines.  :P And after that some welding job...
