Some progress during these weeks...

Repaired door panels, loudspeaker grills and ash trays and such...





Door hinges are bad, so new bushings and pins from GM cars made things happen... These are from my previous project cars. Recycling is the word of today...



Tail lights had some issues, so I took a pair from my parts cars. Cleaned and painted those.



This "repaired" side moulding did not look good... I know that body needs some paint...  ::)



...so I took one from my parts car. (Here in Finland we have only two -80 Eagle Sport Wagons. Both are in my garage)



Did not remember that co-drivers seat had a lot of rust underneath, so sandblasting and matt black makes wonders.



New interior is coming nicely, but slowly... Almost every part is bad or broken... OH, I hate old cars....  :banghead:

Nothing much happened...

Have been busy with my Concord... It was not just a crash repair...

There were some rust issues and a lot of rust repair issues... Some on had done not so good repairs, so they must go.



Just now my Cherokee is getting new brakes.... after that I can ger car lift free for "silver beast"  :hello2:

New sills are on the way... My friend has a long sheet metal bending machine, but he is a very busy metal shaper, so I have to wait.
 I had a pair of used Hornet sills, but they had some rust issues... But they were good solid template.
 I found out that they are wedge shaped... Both high and width... I´d never guessed...

Waiting is the hardest part...

I removed all paint and minor rust, now sill are like new. But most important, no rust holes!

One bolt broke, had to make new threads...



Door jam had under body spray all over...

Had to clean it.



There were some rust issues also.

I did take all rust away and then started to weld new metal.



Bought a new spot welder.



And used it , too



And MIG weld together...



Done



All done. Overwiew..
