First I cut all rust away. And started to finish sheet metal with bead roller...

And then "just" some welding and grinding...

You have done some terrific work! That is a very nice Eagle. In fact, when I first got mine and started looking at new tires and wheels, I based a lot of, if not all of my decisions on the appearance and function of the Silver Beast. That is to say that your Eagle is an inspiration!

Trying to find spotwelds... this revealed some old patch work and more rot... Some swiss guy had done some welding to front part of wheel well... Now it has to be done again...

This is third hidden place where I found signs of old accident...



Job of a hot summer day finished... Free of rust and some chemical rust treatment done. Just new sheet metal needed...

But in my RAmbler/AMC cars and wrecks I´ve had four sets of those shocks... Popular in Europe??
