My opinion is that rare cars need to be saved... These Eagles aren´t bad at all... compared to my ´50 Jeepster or Borgward Isabella Wagon...

But what happened to day...

New black interior is on its way to replace that red one.

Here in Finland glass is not a problem...

We have a long tradtion of making of any glassproducts. We have had dosens of bigger and smaller fabricators. Some of them are today part of multinational Pilkington.

Still we have some speciality manufacturers left... Tamglass, Glaston, IHD-glas and the world famous KAL or Kuttila AutoGlass (Kuttilan autolasi in finnish)

These KAL brothers can do almost impossible out of laminated glass. Their master works can be seen all over the globe. Most custom car builders use their service (through middle men) ..John d´Agostino for example...

So these ordinary "every day" windshields are no issue... if you have money. Price has skyrocketed since my last purchase... from 120 euros to 400...
A couple of years ago I bought a GAZ-13 Chaika windshield for 100 euros. I saw one new for sale in an online shop for 2000 euros!

One of the biggest I know... You can have a piece of 7 meters x 2 meters... (22 feet x 6 feet).  Next to it, there is a 15 m x 1 m  machine!

Few weeks ago I made a barn find... 71 Hornet with seized engine and brakes. Got it running with "new" 232 engine.

Barn find sleeps now over winter...

But here is a new power line to this "silver beast" of mine. Got it from my another Eagle...
Transmission is OK and engine does not breath any oil out.
