WOW good timing, i found my card adapter!!!! without further adue PICTURES!!!!!

one of the nicest 4 door sedans i have seen perfect interior but sadly the floorboards are gone and the rails are toast


the quick way to get an oil pan out of a wagon (some torching involved) i will say i am sad to cut this car the frame and floorboards where perfect, but someone had already put a fork through the windshield to lift it (the owner of the yard made it clear that he is now employed elsewhere, but I got it's visors!!!)


this car made me scratch my head because i have never seen one before, i was offered to buy it but there will never be a title for it because it was turned in for scrap over 4 years go ..... is this a VAM Lerma?

That is a nice collection.  My first thought was that it was a VAM Lerma. But it is more likely a 78 AMX.  That makes more sense and the back side window is the proof.  Thanks for the pictures.

That's a 78 amx!!!! Look at the Targa band on the top of it... A 78 amx...sorry if u read my username u see I'm Waco for 78 Concords... u know that's worth saving just that car... That's worth something right there if it's in good shape... Especially in sunshine yellow... Rare 78 amx color... Usually they were all black. There was black red white and yellow... Wow nice...

If that body is good and it is a 78 AMX, Bill that would definitely be worth saving.  I know people would be looking for those parts.

Based on Bill's description of the vehicle over the phone it is the first car that came to mind.  I forgot about the 78 AMX's at the time.  But the back window on the side now that I can see the car Bill was talking about you are definitely right that it is a 78 AMX.

The VAM Lerma is a vehicle that was sold in Mexico.  It is basically a cross between a Concord and a Sprit.

over the phone the only name I could come up with was a concord lift back,  The problem with that 78 is that the floors are gone, and by gone i mean there is grass growing through the car.  i am going to try and make it out there again this week (more likely Saturday) and look for the build year.  Like i said before the car could be saved but it will never be able to drive on the road again without swapping the vin numbers with another, and i am not the type that has a car that i can't use and enjoy

That SX/4 appears to be an SX Flyer -- a regional model that we have only seen a couple of around here.  So, that body would be worth saving, intact.

i just got back from taking the eagle in town, sadly the wheels are SHOT.  when i accurate up to around 20 mph you can feel the rear walking around then it clears up.  Had the car going 85 on the freeway though (because the numbers seem to stop there ) and it drives like back in the day.  Tomarrow i am going to bite the bullet and buy a set of new tires  for the "summer" wheels and probably finish out the year on them.  Depending on when the tires can get in i might have some more pictures of the sporty A/R wheels on it.

Sucks about the tires.  A fresh set for winter will be nice.

found my out of balance last night in the form of the hub holes needed a little more grinding.  Runs true now, I am in the process of getting a set of tires for my A/R wheels and run them for about a month and a half before switching to the studs.  As far as my rusted through oil pan we applied some JB weld to it tonight and have it baking overnight with a  heat lamp in high hopes that it seals and no more oil leak.  I took the car to work today and I just enjoy the car too much to take it back off the road to install the oil pan I picked up.  I figure here in a month or so i will get in the mood to swap out the pans and fix it the correct way.
