I used to torture a couple friends who did not know I had keys to their cars by randomly moving them a lot.

update: (i feel like that old unsolved mystery show everytime I post that)
I went on the LONG 2 hour drive to the car lot that used to own my car, we arrive and all of the lights are out but the door is open.  We walked in and said hello and a gentileman comes from the back and does the usual "can i help you with something".  I showed him the title to the car and said "Since i can't get a phonecall, i decided to bring down the title, let's get this done I'm sick of looking at my car instead of driving it".  Then came the usual "The Secretary isn't in and i can't do any paperwork" I reply "get the owner on the phone, my next stop is the state police barracks to have your license revoked for selling a car with an open title".  less than 5 min latter the owner was there telling me how mad he is that the car wasn't junked.  After about 2 phone calls we set up a time on Monday to get the car plated.  Unfortunately it is gonna require another 2 hour trip to the shop to get it all said and done.  So far for my eagle i have been to Illinois twice and across PA twice.  talk about dedication

IT IS LEGALLY MINE!!!!
As of 3:30 this afternoon the paperwork is notarized, sadly it's is technically my wife's because i was unable to take the time off of work to get the paperwork.  She wasn't happy about making the drive but she did it for me ;D  Also as a way to try and put the hose to me yet again the shop decided that they would not like to participate in the process of the plate transfer, so a little latter in the week my wife has to go to our local notary and transfer the plates to the eagle.  All and all i am happy and the icing on the cake is that my wife remembered to jot down the mileage of the eagle before the trip so the title states that it indeed UNDER 100,000 miles (99k and some change), instead of exempt, exceeds mechanical limits.  I am in the home stretch of my eagle saga

what would you like to see?  My wife has brought to my attention that i have more pictures of the eagle on my computer than I do of the kids (come to think of it, she is correct) ;D  At the moment i am getting ready to finally get rid of the trans fluid leak once and for all, also found out that the front universal joints are shot and need replaced, and my car is in 4 wheel drive all the time

Anything, show me all of your pictures...I don't care! lol

Also, how did your car run right off the bat? Because mine isn't running so well after replacing everything that should make it run like a champ.  What did you all do? Or just everything like you said in the beginning posts...? Just kinda curious, because I'm wondering if I'm going to need to do some major engine work on my '83 Limited...

well, I guess i can do a sort of recap on it

when I got it home and off the trailer, It ran and drove under it's own power but had no power steering pump, leaked trans fluid, leaked gas (holes all over the tank), 4 bald tires, rims rotten (only 1 tire was able to hold air due to how bad the rims where), rust scale all over the hood

This is the shot of it with 4 tires that accualy hold air (from the blue jeep in the background) this is also the point where we installed the power steering pump that we got with the car.  Still leaking trans fluid and gas

installation of the new trans cooler along with new trans lines (still have the leak, should have replaced every inch of the lines instead of the easy route we took)

I traded the cherokee 15 inch wheels for a set of ford ranger 14 inch wheels (winter rims)

the spring/summer wheels for the car (waiting on a good deal to come in form of good looking tires) 14x7 fronts 14x8 rears

I ditched the stock flat hood in favor of a power bulge hood (the one from the "How to repair your power bulge hood" thread)

a few photos of the interior all cleaned up

the SX/4 console in the car before the new shifter was installed

The eagle sitting in the current AMC/AMC inspired SUV's I have at the moment

I have to take a look because I know I have more pictures of the car floating around either on the camera or somewhere on the hard drive.  Also get ready within the next week or so for me to get pictures of it out and about and OFF the property ;D

As far as running issues i haven't had any with the car except with the stock air cleaner box and the air doors gaulded shut (installed a chrome open element filter and adapter).  I also have to take the carb apart and replace some gaskets cause it is getting damp or I may just replace the carb all together.  i have a little body work to do on the car (dent in the left fender, dent in the rear post, extra antenna hole) and i am thinking of removing all of the door moldings (missing one on the rear right door)

Accidentially wiped the memory on the cell phone clean today trying to take pictures at Morgan's swim lessons.  I will look, but I am pretty sure that I do not have any of them anymore.  I am really sorry.

It has plates!!!!! err plate :P For the next 10 days i get to run truck plates until the new ones,  I tried VERY hard to keep the truck plates on it insisting that it is not a passenger car but a light truck.  Sadly I lost the battle, but the war is won.  next step is getting it inspected and then i can proceed to drive the wheels off of it :P
