New paint always makes one look better. Did you say that was your first paint job? Looks Grrreat ( to quote Tony the Tiger ).

I need some more opinions. Do you all like the black tail and marker lights or the original red ?

If you're going for a sleek stealth look, use the black.. but only if they don't hamper the ability of the driver behind you to tell when you put your brakes on. Personally I'd stick with the red.. but thats just cuz the drivers up here seem to have a hard time seeing brake lights.
I think the black adds to the whole thing. I love the paint job you did!!

I don't think it will hurt the lighting it is pretty transparent and I was thinking of installing britter bulbs too. I just didn't care for the way the red round lights looked on the yellow.

Black tinted ones look better i think.
You better follow up with some black 1/2 door wrangler door handles too!

Check your state laws.  Some lights must be a certain color.

Yeah do that first... then tint them black to match your car.

As for the door handles mentioned above... Jeep has an exact match in black for our cars.

Personally prefer the red. That said, your Eagle - your choice. Whatever YOU like / want.

I think the door handles & mirrors ( non - Eagle ) are the only thing still left chrome on mine. Of course, everything else is FLAT black & you probably want gloss anyway.

I like the red, it catches onto the red side markers and fits in , it also offsets the black you have around the perimeter of where thay go.

I absolutely love the car, the paint is amazing and the pin striping really sets it off.  What ever happened to the hood you were working on?  I really liked where that was going.

I set the hood scoop aside for this car . I just had to get this one done its been in the garage for three years. And I have a baby coming the end of may so I might have to sell this to cover Doctor bills. :-[   But I will probably try something like that for the 81 SX\4.
