It's not perfect, it has some dings here and there.  It actually has a few dents (went through a hail storm I've been told), and the vinyl roof is really weathered and peeling in places.  Other then that, I can't find anything else wrong with it.

And my my, it sounds AMAZING... true dual exhaust, headers, edelbrock 4bbl carb, with glasspacks... oh my

It looks great. I've always been a fan of Orange! I could tell the top looked a little worn. Other than that it looks great. Bummer about the hail damage...right after a fresh paint job!

What's with the pedals and stuff under the steering wheel? Was it setup for someone that couldn't use there legs?

Yes, the current owner is handicapped; Paralyzed from the waist down.  Cool contraption... You push the lever for the brake, and pull down for the gas.  Pretty cool idea for the less fortunate so they can still have fun with cars.

Thanks for all of the great comments!

By the way, I forgot to mention that it is a '76.  Pretty good shape for a Hornet...Especially when they were known to rot out so easily...

Just got done talking with the owner today.  I bought it! It's officially mine...

I took it for a test drive...... Words can't describe it, with the dual exhaust and glasspacks.... It was a blast driving... And turning heads everywhere!  I can't wait to get this thing home and registered in my name!

Looks amazing. I would have bought one this past month but space is a premium right now and I'm constantly being badmouthed about my Eagle.

Was your Hornet made in the Kenosha plant?

I think we should demand a video on you tube (or where ever) of the car, and you driving around, and lots of pics.

We can't wait to see it in action.    So hurry up, and get that car registered!!!

Yes it was!  All AMC's were made in the Kenosha plant in Wisconsin until 1983.  Then they moved the productions of the Eagles and so forth to Canada, and the Renaults were made in the Kenosha plant starting in 1983.
