Hope to see it at Automotion in the dells this year. I saw your blue Eagle there last year. Looked great. My brother had the burnt orange J-10 a few rows from you..... :occasion14:
You bet it will be there!  Won't have the Eagle there this year, but I'll be there along with my Dad's '77 Hornet AMX.  We'll be the father and son Hornet Gang.  ;)

It hauls...I haven't driven it enough to know for sure, but I think it's the fastest car that I own... Maybe even faster than my Jeep.

There's so much space between the pedal and the floor...and I have never went past 1/2 way down...and it hauls.  To be honest, I'm kind of afraid to floor it...  But I'm going to haha  >:D

But really, there is soo much space between the pedal and the floor... I can fit the front part of my shoe up to the laces under the pedal (I wear size 16 shoe :o)... Yea, that much room lol.

Seems a bit quicker than stock.
From what I found they run 10-12s stock 0-60 / 16.8-17.9 1/4 mile for a 304 car.. Your seemed to be about 9-10 seconds, with some wheel spin. So a decent launch you should be able to hit low 9s/mid-high 8s no problem.

I looked some up for fun and most of the ones I found are auto.
Did AMC not put a manual in it, or were they just mostly ordered as auto?

I guess those upgrade to the engine must really help it for horsepower.  I also looked a bit closer to the carb, and found out that it isn't an Edelbrock carb, but a Holley.  I don't know what cfm, but some performance Holley carb.

And good question about the manual...I know that in '77 you could order an AMX with a 304 and manual...So you'd think they'd also have it available the year before?  Good question...maybe someone else will chime in here lol.

Great video's, good catch that car! I don't think we could find something like that here in Europe.

Today was a cleaning day for my Hornet.  I vacuumed and cleaned the entire car, just still have to give the car a good wax job.

Took some more pictures.  I realized I didn't have any pictures of the engine, so I took a couple.  I also did some cosmetic work, and took some pictures of that. Enjoy.

What's a hotrod without a tachometer?  ;D

The "AMC" emblem was a little faded in my opinion.  So I swapped it out for an N.O.S. emblem.  Looks loads better.
