83Eagle!

That would be pretty funny.  Around here no one seems to know what the heck my Eagle is anyway.  Changing the name plate might be fun.

The roof mounted hitch is for those REALLY BIG trailers ;) yes it also acts as a cb antennae mount. You know, maybe i should check out some illuminated skull hitch covers :D
Update ;the german shepard was hit by a truck right before X-mas,did not survive, he was only a year old;we have planted a tree on his grave.Recently my  g/f has found another Shepard/Akita mix through the shelter she works at,his name is Chopper. He answers to it so i guess it will stay as is. He seems to fit right in .Will have to update the pit crew pix now, although he doesnt like to ride,he does like to pee so he'll be staying home  :P

Interesting air filter.  Wonder how hard it would be to retro-fit something like that on a 4.2?

It's not hard, the thing is how would that system work on a carburetor system?

  Doug,
Go to the hardware store, plumbing section and get plastic pipe the size of the air filter, one elbow, and a short straight piece, make a plate to adapt elbow to top of carb, drill a hole for the stud, and cut very short piece of tubing at an angle to set against the elbow, put stock wingnut back to hold it on. You could use a 30 deg bend to angle it down behind the headlights. should breathe as well as the stock filter, maybe a bit noisier.

It has the front breather hose hooked up underneath or on the opposite side, but otherwise its just a K&N, I have extra hose to run it to the headlight area, may have to see how well it fits.

The base came with the mpi kit ; just an air metering block?I'll take more pix if anyone wants

Interesting.  Thanks Eddie.  Will have to look maybe even a good clamp to hold to the carb.

Have a couple more pix here,There's one of the new deck/hood pins I installed(my left hinge is in need of adj.) and afraid it will pop up someday...2 more of the mpi base air metering block, might see if I can turn it, in case I do go with a functional cowl intake.one at the lake down the road and a shot under the car...i can sit upright under the axle area.
