ya one inch spacers are what i was going to do. although you may need to get new springs altogether as those my be stretched out by this point from the spacers that are on there.

Not only are they strech out, it is most likely that they are warp and distordet with some dangerous week stress points.

I already need to take more pix ...soon after i took these I managed to get her radio and console guage pack installed...and a fire extinguisher on the rear b pillar...although i have to admit the tape player chews tapes but the radio is works good.too bad not many stations up here(.im using Sony X-plode speakers) and of course the guages arent hooked up yet but looks much more complete.too bad it will have to come out when i redo the carpet :)in some other color prob. burgundy or black .I plan on those 2 tone seats from Jegs or JC Whitney.red w/ black inserts .dont know about changing the color of the dash or doors yet.and yes I take the extinguisher out if it gets hot...which aint too often here.

Funny you ask ...i took some nighttime pix with the lights on and from different angles and I cant seem to find them I asked my girlfriend (she's good like that) and she cant find em either so I guess I'll just have to take some more.The light on the extreme right is out .I took it apart(pain)and noticed the bulb. not an off the shelf type.special order i guess .I wouldnt buy em new they're like 6-700 bucks!

what i always liked about those lights was how the previous owner set them up. you can turn on the 2 center ones or you can turn on the 2 outer ones. or all 4 of em.

Looks like you have had access to some parts cars.  I don't remember that dark brown seat color that you have in the back seat.  It looks AMC though.  In mine I painted the "chrome" finish on my air ducts black.  I did not like the chrome.  So how did you end up with a Black Spirit Center Bezel (from a Spirit or home made?) and a wood grain shifter bezel?  I like the Black center pod one.

they're more tan ,maybe it was the photo.They seem original equip with this car.It is a strange mix of tans and browns,I read what you said about AMC painting plastic parts to accomodate production towards the end.All these parts (Console guage pack)came w/ the car in a box... I'm not sure what they came out of though they look decent though I'd rather go with dk.red/maroon or charcoal.The front seats are destined to be replaced.Prob. put a seat cover on the back.

Looks like its just that they are not discolor by the sun.

Yeah, it must have been the pic.  They almost looked chocolate brown.  Look like OE in the second set.
