it has been a little bit of time before i have had a chance to do anything besides drive it, so today I painted up the new grille and installed it

whatcha think?

I still have to decide wiether I want to put the eagle script in the grille or AMC (leaning heavily towards AMC)

I like the grille.  I want one of those.  No one has responded to my wanted ad for the grille or the mirror.

Agreed.

If I get one I want to find the Eagle script logo from an International Eagle Tractor truck.

Nice. That is the same grille I am going to use. Actually it will be the whole front clip from the Concord. Also I was thinking about blacking out hood as well.

Nice!! Similar to the grille we have in the sx4. I'd say definitely the AMC logo on the grille, mainly because it would be kinda funny for both it and the hood say Eagle, lol.

the hood is in primer because it was a powerbulge that i had to repair http://forums.amceaglenest.com/index.php?topic=32674.0, but as it turns out it matches the wheels that I put on the car (black with chrome lips) so this spring/summer it is going to be removed from the car for a good coat of satin black and maybe some functional scoops

that is why I have been torn between the 2 but now I do belive the hunt is on for the AMC emblem that is the exact same as the one loacated on the hatch ......... anyone got one they want to part with?

I might have one of those Bill.  I know I pulled one off that Hornet Sportabout that was in good shape.  I think I have a second one as the one on my Eagle has no color left on it.  If I have a spare it is yours.  I will look tomorrow in the light.

That grill may have been on a concord but it is a 1980 Eagle grill, not concord
