Interesting that the two door was produced in greater numbers than the four door. Usually the four door is the "bread and butter" and it far outsells its two door equivalent.
The rarest Concord was the 1983 wagon with only 867 built.
I wish I had known
that about a year ago. One of those 867 was in my local yard. Unfortunately it wasn't hard to see why it was in there - the front end looked like it had been introduced to a brick wall at high speed. Had I known of its extreme rarity, I would have at least saved the VIN and door tag for historical purposes.
It was a nice one, too... white with woodgrain, brown interior, sport steering wheel, AM/FM cassette, air, tilt, cruise, power windows and locks. Many of its rarer parts found their way home with me.
