It honestly depends on the vehicle they are going on. For my summer car, I run the pepboys cheapies, they ride decent, wear good (except for the rear tires  ???,  my lead foot problem :rotfl:), work good on both wet/dry surface (not snow),  and are cheap. The SX/4 is likely going to get a set of these as well, since it will never see the foul weather, why put on more tire than it needs? lol. My jeep, I like BFGoodrich for daily commutes, main reason there, it is odd tire size that they almost corner the market on (tall, and very narrow). For offroad, I can't complain about my interco super swamper tsl's. The new eagle, probably firestone destination A/T, they look like a well thought out all weather tire to me. There's my little rundown on what I use and plan to use.

I've got Primewell PA100's. I went to Firestone to get Destination AT's and when I dropped it off they had ordered in 235's instead of 215's. He couldn't find any within a distance that I could have them within a day or two and no one else had any 215/75/15 AT's in stock.  They are a little noisy while driving and I knocked about 1 MPG off of the Eagle. Way better in the rain than the Wranglers I had on there.

Put on a set of General Grabber All Terrains.  I wanted a more aggressive look.  Runing 215-75-15's on stock suspension setup on stock rims.

I run those in the winter, (205/75-15) but they are a little noisier. With the new muffler my tires are the loudest thing in the car.

I ran Cooper for years because they were inexpensive and a good performing all-season tire. They were available locally at a shop where I lived and always a good $20 or so cheaper a tire then anything at Sears, and hardly more expensive then generic tire. I thought they were a good balance between cheap and good.

Now I have some Yokohamas I got online at about half price a tire plus shipping, and they have done really well for me.

I, also, have a set of Cooper A4 all season 215-65R15 on Jeep rims.  Right now I have the Firestone 205/70r15 on the front and the Coopers on the rear.  They have the same diameter so no problem in 4wd.

That's gonna be my next winter tire...

for winter, I have Uniroyal Tigerpaw studded tires.  They were really cheap (in 2004 I paid $480 installed and studded) so it was a cost thing, but they just did their 6th winter.

In summer, I have Pirelli P3000 touring/high mileage tires (135,000) for summer.  They are coming up to their 5th summer.

My dad works for Kal Tire (those outside western Canada probably won't know that name), so I get some smokin' deals on tires.  I run 205-75-15 Nokian Vatiiva on the Eagle year round.  My wife's Corolla and Cube have Nokian WRG2 on them for the summer, and the Cube has studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 for the winter (just like Priya has shown above).

My Concords ride on whatever I find at Pick-n-Pull.  ;D

I would think you should be able to get them, its a Scandinavian company and I'm sure they sell throughout Canada and the States.  The Hakkapeliitta 7's come from the factory with studs but they make other winter tires without studs.  Here's one:

on the subject of snow tires i run general altimax artic on the wifes sonata. those tires on fwd were significantly better in the snow than the goodyear wranglers i was running on my truck in 4x4. at the end of the second season with them and they still look almost new. i chose not to have them studded and they performed very well in snow and ice.

Mastercraft is the house brand for a store chain called 'Canadian Tire'.    Basically they buy a huge run of tires, and then have that name put on the side, but they are cooper tires.  Just like Sears used to get a run of Toshiba or RCA TV's and/or VCR's and then have the 'Sears' logo on the unit, instead of Toshiba.

Alaska has all the snow.  I flew down to Nashville for a managers conference and there is no snow in Nashville and none in St. Paul, MN when I caught my connection.  This made me decide we have it all in AK.  Just google Cordova Storm and see how much those guys got.

... and I am running Firestone Winterforce studded 235/75/15

I went with Firestone Destination A/T's after comparing the user-ratings on TireRack  -- they seemed to have excellent reviews (with HUNDREDS of thousands of miles worth of reviews) and the price was really good (relative to Pirelli Scorpion ATR's which got the #1 rating). I also liked the look of the tread - for what THAT'S worth, and the outlined white letters look decent. I usually get great results from Firestones, so I bit the bullet...

I bought them over four years ago and I still hardly see any wear on them!   ...of course, that might be because I've only driven the car 12 miles in four years...    sigh

Don't know if I really count, since it's not stock height anymore. ;D Currently running Nankang Mudstar M/Ts, 31/10.5-15. GREAT in muddy terrain, especially at 15-20psi, but slush/snow/ice? Forget it :o When I get to the point I need new shoes, I'll likely go with a set of good A/Ts, something with a fairly aggressive tread. Don't get much snow here in the "tropics", so one set will do me just fine for year-round. :)

I have the Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2 ATs on my SuperDuty and they do awesome on the ice and in the snow.  I am impressed with their winter performance for an AT.  They are a little spendy... but the super duty takes 265/75/16 12 plys.  I'm sure eagle size is less.

You see proof I use them in the snow/ice :)

I use Firestone Winterforce snow tires.  They are studdable; however, I do drive the car occasionally in the summer, but not enough to justify two sets of tires. Studs are miserable on dry pavement....plus they are only legal in Ohio Nov through March. These are pretty good, cheap snow tires. I have had them on a few Town Cars/Grand Marquis's I've had and have always worked great.  Keep in mind though, snow tires SUCK in the summer, and now that I am realizing that I drive the thing more in the summer than I thought I would (because I like the :censored: thing so much), I wish I would have ponied up for All Terrain tires instead.
