Here's the recovered headliner...

I can't wait until it is installed.  I need to make sense of that pile of trim next.

Here are a couple shots of the visors.  I am glad they are going to be the same color.  I am still undecided about the style.  One of them looks great.  The side opposite the mounting bracket on the other leaves a little to be desired, but he gave me a discount on the job because of it.  I think he did a great job on the headliner and the one visor.  The stitching on the side of the one visor is very visable, but oh well I am not creating a show car.

I am happy overall with the job.  I hope I don't mess it up when it is installed.

I think they will be okay.  At least they are the right color.  Had I not recovered them they would look really out of place due to fading.

Love this picture of my Eagle on Hwy 31.  Thanks Mick.

Your welcome.  Me too, that is my favorite pic I have on my camera.  That's what I do.  That, and stop light hood latching.  LOL

Looks like I need to update this topic.

Recent changes include the 83 Eagle plates and finally solving the front mounting bracket issue.

Also the addition of the push bar and KC Lights.

Up next...

I have a grille from a '79 Concord that I am going to replace the eggcrate grille with.

I am a little stuck with the grille because I do not have mounting hardware.  I did not figure it would come with the mounting hardware.  And I lost a majority of the screws when we replaced the headlight bucket at the 2010 Meet.

I guess I never posted pictures of the installed headliner that Jim and WonderEagle helped me install.  I thought I posted them on this thread, but I guess not.

To get myself in the mood to try and start Eagle I have decided to finish up the Headliner.  All that is left is to put the done light back in.  When I get dinner in the oven I will have 30 minutes to get it done.

Before: (Not actually - I had a saggy headliner, but have had bare metal for over 3 years)
Well, I guess I never got a shot of the bare metal roof.

As Jim, WonderEagle and I left it at the meet....

After:

Here's a better shot of the license plate.

Somehow my post on the push bar install disappeared.  I will provide details on that here.  I found a guy who used to fabricate equipment for Baja Off-Road vehicles.  He did a nice job with the install.

The push bar/grille guard is from a XJ Cherokee.  I believe it is a used JC Whitney unit.  I got it used for a song from a gentleman who got rid of the Cherokee.

Here it is done...

He fabricated up a set of bracket for the push bar to mount to.  He added a cross bar between the frame rails that the bumper mounts to.  Then he welded the brackets to it.  That way if I ever decide I do not want the push bar on the Eagle I can un bolt it and take it off.  It is completely independent of the bumper of the Eagle.
