1981 AMC Concord DL for sale in Villa Park, IL.
258 6 cylinder, Automatic Transmission, 2.53 rear axle. Power steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks, Air Conditioning, Radio Delete. Approximately 138,000 miles. Clean Illinois title in hand. Asking $1,500 OBO.

Car was my Dad's daily driver between 1998 and 2004. I started tinkering with it in my high school auto shop days (2009 through 2011) and used it as my first car. In that time, I replaced most of the front suspension wearable parts including:

February 2010 at 118,000 miles
Moog Strut rod bushings
Moog upper and lower ball joints

July 2011 at 121,000 miles
Prothane Polyurethane Upper and lower control arm bushings
TRW Idler arm
Raybestos Inner Tie Rods
Prothane Polyurethane Sway bar end link bushings
Moog Rubber Sway Bar bushings
SKF front wheel bearing, left and right, inner and outer

In Summer 2012, the transmission was rebuilt by AAMCO at 123,000 miles and I took the car to college with me between 2012 and 2014.

After that point, it was no longer being driven regularly and was mostly garaged. It was registered through 2020 so it was driven here and there. After 2020 it was started and moved around once or twice a year.

Car still starts, runs, drives, and brakes. That said, it hasn't been driven regularly in quite some time. While it could be driven away, I would recommend trailering.
