Clutch slipping, grinding noise while in gear
« on: March 09, 2022, 12:53:56 AM »
Hey guys, I’m hoping some of you more adept eaglers will be able to point me in the right direction here.

Car: 82 Eagle w t5 manual transmission.

Issue: Bought the car w a known slipping clutch. Was still able to drive it back home. I replaced the clutch and now the car grinds while in gear. It seems worse in lower gears but I haven’t pushed it past third. It also seems like the clutch is still slipping, ie now I’m wondering if there is issues that present as a slipping clutch but are something else…?

After doing more research, I’m wondering if it might be a false neutral issue…has anyone had a similar experience?
