1988 AMC Eagle wagon tilt steering column parts
« on: November 22, 2019, 10:01:39 PM »
I have an 88 Eagle Wagon. It has a tilt steering column. I need to replace the bearings in steering column. I am having a hard time finding the parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  :eaglebig:

A little more info please.  If the tilt mechanism up top is floppy; it isn't a bearing - its the 4 little Torx bolts holding the tilt pivot hub that are loose.  Have to disassemble the top of the column down to the tilt housing to get at them for a retighten.
