Where is the headlight dimmer switch on 1980 Eagle, Manual Trans ?

Mitch

If it's not on the signal switch, (pull forward), then it's a floor switch, (activated by your left foot).

Neil Squires

It's not on the floor! so it must be on the signal switch and I think it's broken.
All the headlights are on and the high beam indicator is lit up on the dash, so to disengage the dimmer I have to push the signal switch forward right ?

RallyEagle

You pull the blinker lever towards you until it clicks. That turns high beams on. Pull it again in the same manner and it will turn high beams off.  You should not have to force it.

Neil Squires

I found the switch, it was on the turn signal switch but very stiff...gunna have to lube it up some how.
Another question....Where is the Trans dipstick and fill cap ? It should be there, just can't seem to see it anywhere!

Mitch

There is no dipstick on a standard tranny.
