I've got parts and time, lol

So far I've put in a new clutch, and back hatch shocks.  Weber Carb is a little to tall...

Now I'm rebuilding a NP 231 for a gearbox upgrade.  I have 2 used NP129s just incase.  I also have new leaf springs waiting to be installed, new glass packs, shocks, struts, black interior along with new carpet etc.    I also have a new piece for below the hatch and a (blue) drivers side rear corner piece.  It's going to be a long process.  Hopefully I can take pictures along the way.

I've been rebuilding my gear box, but am being held up by my need for an 18mm socket, lol.  I ordered it and am waiting...  Closest store that would sell it is over 45 minutes away...

Wife is also concerned with the exhaust noise.  She wants it to be  a little bit more quiet.  Right now it has 2 headers running glass packs out under the doors, lol.  She is wanting me to redo the exhaust asap...

Ok.  I just got in the transmission bolts.  I picked up the  crossmember and skid plate last week.  So I am finally ready to get the transmission installed.

I took all of the interior out and used a steel wheel getting all of the rust out.  Just finished rust proofing the floor.  Repainted with rustoleum protectant enamel.  I'm tempted to go ahead and take the trim off the car and repaint it while its apart.  I also have new carpet laying out on the porch...  It will be a new machine soon!!

I've got the rear leaf springs, shackles, bushings, and shocks replaced and all painted black.   Raised the rear end up quite a bit.

I also removed the skid plates and put about 5 layers of paint on them and put som rubber spray on for texture and added mare paint, lol.  Installed the LED headlights, but still need to install the relays.

The Hei distributor has been installed along with new plugs and wires.  The Dual exhaust is also in and sounding nice.

Next up is replacing all of the front linkage, bushings, shocks etc.  and putting new led foglight on the front as well.
