Looking for a manual (standard shift) trans crossmember.
« on: October 19, 2016, 12:56:46 PM »
Hey guys I'm looking for a manual (standard shift) transmission crossmember for our eagles. It's for my 83 sx4 with a 258. If anyone has one they are willing to sell I would appreciate it. Any leads will help.
I Don't know why. But everybody's always talking about their STI or That guys EVO, I think I'll stick with my old, but reliable AmC. Did I ever tell you I was Full blooded Eagle?

Is the crossmember the same or is there really a difference between the 2?

They absolutely did change the crossmember from auto to manual. One does not work for the other. I swapped a auto setup to manual. I had pics somewhere. Cannot find now.

I take it the manual one is wider?   Is there another Jeep crossmember that would work?

I may have to have one fabricated.  Does anyone know the dimensions?
