Where can I buy a J3238 451 shift housing part for my 1984 Eagle automatic transmission floor-shift lever?  The internal cable snapped. I am in the Los Angeles area.

hi, you can get a whole shifter handle from a Mustang resto place, such as Mustangs unlimited. Ask for the Pinto/Mustang II shifter, ie 74-78 (i think). same , or 99% the same as Eagle. they also have the bezel, though in chrome, not black. good luck, gz
