Back in an Eagle
« on: February 10, 2016, 07:46:07 PM »
yesterday while going to look at a wagon, I found an 83 SX/4.  No rust dents all end caps in place.  Gas tank on the ground for a sending otherwise fire it up and drive away.  We are in a snow storm so I have to wait until it clears to bring it home. Mileage is around 60,000.  Will post pictures then

Blue gray color with dark blue flares.  The bumpers are not even dented.  I went to look at a Eagle wagon and the SX/4 was on the dame street.  He said the wagon was in good shape but setting on the side of the road, the grille was gone and it leaned to the left.  He said it only had 80 plus miles.

The Eagle project is dead.  the car may be stolen and has not run in years.  He was trying to get a shop to fix it real quick said he had a buyer but needed it fixed free. And the story just keeps getting deeper, he was in jail.  It is in great shape but unknown problems and legal status of the car

Yes I was glad to find out.  He was asking 600.00 for the car and I had cash but couldn't find him to pay, but I never looked at the jail.  The shop he wanted to fix it is a friend of my brother and we started checking and it is a mess I'd be afraid even if he handed me the title.  So may are fake any more
I will keep looking.  I have seen 4 or 5 running around lately.
