hi all
the 92 XJ steering column is on place in my 81 Eagle :)
the wiper switch is now on the XJ column.
will the Eagles intermittent module work with the XJ wiper switch ?
i read a lot of switches and modules the last ours, but i find not a clear answer
the xj switch is not designed for the voltage from the wiper motor, i know but the XJ have also a module.
the question is now, can i use the module from my Eagle ?
thanks

It should, the columns are nearly identical, as are the switches. Plug it in and see how it goes.

AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

after i spend my 1981 Eagle a XJ Cherokee tilt column all systems works.
the wiring for the lights is very easy, only plug in the Eagle contacts to the new XJ column.
but the intermediate wiper is a little headscratching job.
after many hours in all forums i gave up and did my own thing.
everywhere you will find pictures and descriptions but no real wiring  with the correct wire colors.
I have now read the wiring diagrams from the Jeep and Eagle and shot two pics for the next one who do this job
on the right side of the picture you can see the jumper wire, this is for the park position.
on all other wires you can see the colors
black wire is ground
