front hub assembly

hi all
my Eagle is still under construction and i think i will have new front hubs.
yes, i read all the storys about change the bearings but i´m not a friend of this methode.
so i find this guy here

many years i drive Cherokee XJ and i replace the hubs on my car and many others.
nobody realy nobody comes with the idea and replace the bearings from this hubs.

yes, i also read on many place no other hub will fit on a Eagle, but i think its possible

anyone here with changed hubs ?

Capt Spillane was working on a way to use XJ hubs. Not sure how far he got.

I wish I had time/$/energy to do mine that way. I don't think the Eagle knuckles have enough strength to be machined out for the bigger XJ bearing assemblies. It would probably take me a week to figure out what the best replacement would be and I have a million things to do at once. Getting the 200 foot trench for the power to my well at my cabin done first is the primary objective, but the heat has been killing my energy totally.

Then the new spring mount pivots and bearings in my Eagle wagon so my Comanche can be sold.

I'm also going to be clearing away other vehicles and parts again.

The guy who made that youtube video had his knuckles machined to accept the jeep hub assemblies.  He had to gusset them after the holes were bored larger to make sure they would still be strong enough.   He made a thread detailing this, but the pictures seem to be gone:

I think the difference may be knock sensor intake vs non-sensor as that's the only difference I found.
