as some of you may know I recently picked up a 1986 four door sedan. well on the day I went to get it it kind of caught on fire :hot: :banghead:. well I got it home after putting the fire out of course and got to really looking at what all was destroyed by the fire and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the damage was very minimal to point that the plastic valve cover wasn't even scorched, the same can not be said for the vacuum lines on top of it which were completely destroyed, but they are replaceable. from what I can tell about the car is that at one point in it's life it was in a front end collision and the body work done to the fenders was not that good as the bondo that was put on it is more than a 16th of an inch thick and has started cracking and coming off other than that and a ding in the drivers front door the car has a very good body on it. so without further ado here is the car I have dubbed Fire Starter.

thanks guys I could use a little help with the vacuum lines on this one as well as how to do a n u t t e r bypass seeing as put one of gronks carburetor kits on it (it came with Survivor's new motor) and I have no idea on how to route the vacuum lines or do the bypass.

Flame on!

I think Gronk has the re-done diagram on Gronk Performance .com?

Hey there just saw your post the ECM Test bypass is a good mod. I found I was missing a wire in mine. I went to a junk yard and found a mid 80's 351w powered ford truck. It had the correct wiring harness to get you from the ignition module to the distributor with only one wire to connect in that area. There are some other wires that need to be sorted out also to get power to the ignition and keep the wiring clean.
