I made a deal yesterday for an '88 wagon. She's brown, in decent shape and comes loaded with spare parts. (I also got a van load of spare parts and an extra, rebuilt, engine.) There are things like wheel covers, radios, alternators, at least three sets of tail light housings, a tilt steering column and lots of things I haven't even seen yet.  Pretty sure there's a set of NOS mudflaps.

The seller has let me make payments so I gave him $200 down and will pay the other $500 within two weeks. I hope to have her on the road a month from now so the SX/4 can get a makeover this winter.

Now I have to figure out how to replicate the exterior sun visor so the new car can have one.,

Doubt there's any CB's in the mix but you never know. It's going to be like Christmas when I get to unload the parts.

Pics will be forthcoming because it did happen! LOL

I made another payment today.
I'm starting to get excited...I've wanted a wagon for a long time!

Mernsy

I paid the rest today and now own "Nancy"!!

She started up for the first time in 14 years and I drove her a couple miles.
There's a few issues that need addressed but I think I can have her legal and all next week.

Going to do some work on her tomorrow and will take pics to post!!

I am the happiest Eagle owner east and west of the Rockies right now!!!!

Congrats!  Can't wait to see the pics!

Hi. Matt here. I am so happy for you! AMC made some unique cars to say the least! I am now working on a 79 AMC Pacer!   I can't wait to see the pics!

Mernsy

No pics yet. I was called into work this afternoon and didn't get a chance to work on her at all.  I'd rather be working on an Eagle than a tour bus any day!!

Raised grill? They look sweet with rectangular headlights from a '77 Spirit put in.
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

I'm still not a very good picture taker. Looks like I had the wrong setting. Oh well, here is Nancy!!

Focus is a bit off, but we get the idea!

Yeah, I had the selector on close-up instead of distance.
