Lots of kits out there.   If you read the back on most of them it says they are for the 904, 998, 999 and some even list the 727.

Not a Jeep.  Not a Car.  Its an AMC Eagle!

1982 Eagle SX/4 Sport;
1980 Concord DL;
1970 Ambassador 2 Dr HT, SST
2002 Hyundai Santa Fe;
2008 Jeep Patriot Sport - Freedom Drive II

Watch out! The 904 uses a skinnier rear band than 998/999 (almost identical to each other) Later 999 setups have a different converter (@'95) where they went to an equal offset bolt pattern AND a stronger neck (all 9XX's weakest spot). 999 also has the converter lockup on a solenoid in the valvebody.

999 runs more clutches in the drums too.

I have a 999 bare case from a '99 Wrangler with the valvebody, dipstick tube (not sure where the stick is) and crank position sensor. For sale. In Seattle $75
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!
