Hello. Hope I'm doing this right.
« on: April 19, 2014, 08:52:52 AM »
Hello. I'm trying to modify this opening post since I screwed it up with a bad link. My name is Dale and I have an SX4. It was originally silver and black and getting trashed by PA road salt. I saw this color on a 2010 Camaro and knew that I had to have it. The pictures don't show the metallic gleaming.  I live in Portage PA which is between Johnstown and Altoona. I'm also a podiatrist when I'm not tinkering so any questions about your why your heels hurt or why your toes are falling off ....I'm your guy. My email is [email protected]. Hello fellow Eagle lovers.

That worked.
Nice looking SX! Welcome to the Den Dale, glad you found us.
Tell us more about her and yourself. And more pics never hurt ;)

Thanks guys. This is a 1983 with 69,000 miles on her. I wanted a wild color so I went with a 2010 Camaro color called Synergy Green.  I get a lot of puzzled looks as people try to figure out what the heck it is. I also went with a wild headliner to replace the sagging one.

And of course the rear gas tank filler location is the perfect place for an Exxon Tiger tail

Thanks guys. The weird things on the wipers are just something I picked up called wiper aids. Supposedly the wind helps them hold your wipers down but I just wanted more green. They were big in the 80's along with the colored double wipers which I don't have yet..  Even the solar powered  hula girl has a green skirt.  I know it's a little cheesy and all but I'm a cheesy kind of guy. The striping was just how they had the original striped when it was silver and black.

Great looking car.  I'm not a fan of green in general but I like that shade of Camaro green.  Loving the headliner - very psychedelic sixties.  And the tiger in the tank, tres chic!
