Does anyone have any experience with the Offenhauser intake on an eagle?

And I wonder why it says not for vehicles with automatic transmissions? Doesn't the eagle use a kickdown cable? With a cable it shouldn't matter on mounting, compared to a mechanical linkage anyway.

Oh, I didn't remember seeing a linkage on my wagon. I could probly fabricate something to work though.

It's connected to the carb via a bell crank below the intake. Lokar makes a cable that replaces the rod. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/lok-kd-2727ht?seid=srese1&gclid=CMeGt5iIzLwCFfNj7AodCCcAxQ

Just search on eBay, there are kickdown cables for the 727 for $25.

I have the Lokar cable on the lockup 727 I have for sale from an '82 Wagoneer. My garage just blew away a couple hours ago so I have no place to work on anything now.
