Hey Casper, I do say welcome, but it seems you have a lot more experience with this group than I do.  Just want to introduce myself as another Oregon based member, south of Bend near La Pine.  I just started a restoration on an 83 SX4.  Give a shout if you're out this way.  Good trout fishing here.
Take my advice, I'm not using it...

ha, apperently in my posts from the "old" forum i offended a certain someone. and one single post is all it took to get EVERYTHING deleted and banned. and all it was, was just an honest opinion on a question that was asked. dont know that in anything i posted was worth much anyway.  i just hope i can help someone do something SAFELY. there are 2 things that will set me off into a rant where im known to have a hard time keeping clean wording. someone telling someone to do something unsafe, or attacking me personally. as an ASE cert auto tech, i can only do so much from here. but i hope i can help a few. and thanks for the re-welcome guys!!!  :occasion14:

I like a good rant now and then. I think for the banning is gone, just if there is a post that someone has a problem with, you get a message about it, and it gets taken down, unless you have a good reason that it shouldn't.  I doubt anything like that will happen here for a while if ever, because it's still a small community.  I wasn't here when they flew the coupe on the nest, but I can say welcome here.  I saw this post and was hoping for another with pictures of Honey badger, and you delivered, so you're all good in my book.  ;D

Welcome back from another ASE-certified tech...and rants on unsafe/unwise practices will not offend me. Those willing to share their expertise is one reason why I like it here. :eagle:

So far I know I have not warned anybody about anything and no bans what so ever.  If a ban was ever to happen, I sure would not remove their posts, but I don't feel it will ever come to that again.    Spammers not included.
