Nice Wagon, 850
« on: January 24, 2014, 09:30:00 PM »
If you know me, I really have a thing for sx4s and I'm getting the Kammeback bug.  Well this eagle I'm waiting on is taking so long, I want to keep my eye on the market.  I don't really like wagons, but even if you don't, it's still an eagle, and if they look nice, you gotta at lest think they are cool.  Well I found this, and I don't really know if someone else has seen it, but it's a wagon, 1984, and the paint looks good.  Unfortunately it has some rust issues, but the engine and tranny are new.

I'm not big on wagons, and those rims would have to go (to the first kid who thinks rims and an amp make a car) and I'd have to look in further about the rust, but what do you guys think?  I'm not sure about the white on orange(?) or whatever, but it sure looks good.    also, this could be a hint that if anyone has any info on an sx4 (preferably maroon or blue... I'm not big on red, but beggars can't be choosers)  I'd appreciate it.  or if anybody has any pics of a maroon or blue sx4, that'd be cool, because I don't really see them, and they're my favorite color.

I don't have the means or the smarts to haul it home and finish the engine swap, and it was about halfway done when I called him.  with the weather around here latly, I guess it's cold even inside to work on things like this.  he said he'd do it, but I suppose you work at your own pace when you don't keep it in the end.  I guess he does get a wad of cash though.   it really sucks, and every once in a while I loose hope on it.  I wish I just knew how to finish the job right now. :-[
