hey everyone,
I'm new to this whole thing. I've wanted an eagle for years and years. recently moved to texas for work and in the search for a second vehicle i found a 1981 2 door sedan. couldn't let it get away. I've put a little work in so far but it still needs some things. was kind of wondering if there were any other members in the Dallas area that i could call on for assistance. i constantly scan the forum for things that i need, but I'm more of a visual person and it helps to see it first hand, even if its someone pointing at things.

im excited to be a part of this group and appreciate all the help I've gotten so far just from reading posts.

Welcome and your first thumbs up..  One way to locate near by members, especially as more sign up. is to add your info to the S.O.A.R. data base, which can be found here:  http://forums.amceaglesden.com/index.php?topic=42855.0

And get in touch with the Dallas AMC Club (North Texas AMC).   Their Prez (Marty Bricker) is an Eagle guy; and they are a great bunch to hang with.   Here's the link to their web site:    http://www.northtexasamc.com/

Yeah, the S.O.A.R. Database is pretty new so it doesn't represent nearly as many Eagle owners as there are out there. Right now though I don't see anyone in your area. I do have an Aunt that lives in Plano and I visit about once a year.
