Had a mini Eagles Den meet this past week at the World Famous Rambler Ranch!!

I took my Dad for his Christmas present. I fly a LOT for my job so I had enough air miles saved up to get us there and back. My Dad after all is the one who started all of this be having AMC's and Ramblers when I was a kid and he still has a sweet Concord, a Gremlin we are currently working on and a SUPER nice 67 Rogue Convertible. He and I log a lot of shop time together bustin knuckles

Dave (VanGremlin), Dave (Mental1896) met us there and Terry gave us the grand tour!

If you ever get a chance this is a MUST see place, over 600 cars, TONS of memorabilia, and lots and lots of EAGLES!!! Its truly better than Disney World to an AMC car person. Its really cool Terry is preserving all this history, Its something that cant really be described and Pictures just don't do it justice.

Here is a pic of the crew, and thanks to all for a day me and father will never forget!

Thanks for sharing your great time with us.  A group picture is always good.  What was your favorite part about the visit?

Of course the cars are awesome, all the collectibles too, but I think the  best part was spending time with friends.

Counting down to the Eagles Nest Hotel thing in the fall!

I agree.  Nothing like hanging around with some fellow AMC owners.  And Terry is always such a great host.  It's amazing to hear him tell the story behind every single car.  I go out there every chance I get.  Good to meet Amc 1320's dad, and good to see Mental1896 again.

I had a great time there. Certainly nice seeing you guys. If I could change anything though, I'd rather it was a tad warmer!

And thanks again for dinner, Rob!

Gremlin with a Hornet front end in the first picture? Looks a lot like the Kammback Hornet Capt is making.

I believe the second car on the left in the first picture is a Matador with around 100 original miles.  Terry bought it from a dealer that kept it for years without driving it.  There is many other examples of rare cars like this in Terry's collection.  He even has a Turbodiesel Eagle wagon that is un-restored (one of only 2 known to still exist)....Rich
