Turn Signal Indicators not working
« on: November 29, 2013, 07:03:06 AM »
I just got an Eagle and it didn't have an owner's manual.  The turn signal indicators, high beam and 4wd indicator lights on the dash don't work.  I'm hoping it's just a fuse, which one controls those?  Thanks for the help!

It might be a fuse marked as ACC LPS on the fuse block. Do your gages, besides the speedometer, work yet? Do you see a seatbelt, and oil pressure light when you first turn the key? I'm thinking if those are not working, it would be the fuse that is the issue, otherwise you may have a few burned out bulbs. sadly eagles don't have a four wheel drive indicator lamp.

Check the 3 amp fuse in the bottom left corner.

Someone may have unplugged the dash connector or the bulbs may be burned out.
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

The indicator lights for low oil, and voltage work.  I checked that fuse you recommended, it tested good.  I'm betting its the bulbs.  One post said you could pull the radio to reach the bulbs, any luck with that?.  And guess what, on the way home, the blue hi beam just clicked on.  What's the other indicator lights down on the lower right?  It doesn't have a 4wd indicator light?  Well, whaddayaknow.

No 4WD light.  Too bad they did not include that when they added select shift.
