The Great Wheel swap of 2013
« on: May 18, 2013, 08:13:25 PM »
A couple of weeks ago, after many years of searching, I scored a set of Turbocast II wheels, the bonus was they had some brand new FAT 60's on them!!

So my son and I cleaned them up and spent the last couple of weeks repainting them

today we installed them on my 81 Spirit, its my son's daily driver, I have had the car for about 20 years or so

Here are some pics of the new wheels installed, the new tires are much wider and have a lower profile, I LOVE the stance it gives the car, made it mean looking

THEN, we took the wheels and tires that were on the Spirit and put them on the Concord, what a HUGE difference that made, went from OK, the kinda cool cruiser

before (my nephew behind the wheel)

AFTER!!!

Those wheels look great, and the new ones on the Concord really do make it look like a super cool cruiser. Nice work!
