I have an 88 eagle that is in need of a transmission. I would like to upgrade to the 727 but I am having a hard time finding one. I have been looking for old Wagoneers but not much luck finding a junk one. Is there anyone that might be able to point me in the right direction? Any help is much appreciated.

AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

Too bad you aren't close to Seattle. I have a 727/NP229 combo for $250 (Grand Wagoneer blew a rod so he's building a 400 HP SBC to replace it, expecting better fuel economy!)  :D
