Im a new member with a sweet 87 sedan, carson city NV

Here is my car Bernice! 87 Sedan, Auto, 69,000 miles.

I would very much like a hitch and receiver on my car to tow a light landscape trailer but I have had no luck on my quests. As you all know, AMC does not register in most shop's books! My first mission is this hitch dilema and any advice would be great. I love my car and Im happy to share with you flying eagles out there.

Welcome to the nest from NJ and that is one nice sedan! I myself am on the hunt for a trailer hitch for my 86 Limited Wagon. I may be wrong but since AMC Eagles are unibody they can only handle up to a class II trailer hitch. As for where to get one, I think the best bet is to find a universal one that will fit or to make one since I have found no trace of a company that sells hitches specifically designed for an Eagle.
1986 AMC Eagle Wagon Limited. Work in progress. Most likely have the only one in town. :)

My 87 Sedan is the same blue with white vinyl top!  87 sedans are rare birds, I believe it was like 454 made or so, and they have the aluminum valve cover from the factory!
