If some of you have seen previous posts of mine, my kickdown linkage is basically nonexistant. I have found a throttle valve control rod with the second attachment that goes to the throttle arm.  What I need to know is if:

a) The rest of the pieces necessary (springs, clips, etc) are available anywhere, or do I have to find used parts for those too?

b) If I do need to use used parts, if anyone has the rest of these available.

c) Is this something I can reassemble once I have all of the parts myself, or should I have my mechanic do it?  I don't want to misadjust something.

Below are pictures of the arm I am buying, as well as what is going on under the hood.  Thank you in advance for the help.  This has been quite the process figuring this out.

Sorry the picture I took is a little sideways.

You can see that there is NOTHING attached there right now. Help please! Thanks again Nest!

I like to to tell people my Eagle is like a Ferrari. It's quirky, tempermental, border-line exotic, and something you don't see everyday.  See? Makes perfect sense....

You need a couple lock pins and a return spring to do it right.

Thanks carnuck. My mechanic should be able to sort that out? (I have an old-school mechanic that actually fixes cars rather than just a parts-replacer)

Is the linkage on a Spirit with a 258 the same as an Eagle?
