Looking to get the A/C working on my Eagle, and the first step is to get the system sealed so it'll hold a charge.  Anyone have a part number for an applicable (factory air)  seal(s) kit?   If I can't get it to hold a vacuum, there's no sense in going further.  I could get a general service kit but there's no guarantee that it would have all the o rings I'll need.  I'll probably replace the expansion valve, low pressure switch and receiver/drier at that time.  All reasonable cost stuff.

AFAIK there's no such thing as a "seal kit" with all the seals/o-rings you have on the car.   Need to find out exactly where its leaking, then find those parts as needed.   Btw; I have all the AMC parts books, so just let me know what I can look up for you.   Compressor seals (and the compressor) and generic O-rings and the dryer you can get aftermarket.

Thanks.  I was pretty sure that would be the answer.  With as little as I use Rudy, I'm debating the practicality of restoring the A/C system.

Down here in the heat belt, you need A/C no matter how little you use the car!!   Where you are; probably not so much (I used to live in the cold belt; don't miss it at all).

Don't let the pictures fool you, that's New Mexico!  Granted, it's at 7300' after a snowstorm, but that's what I got the Eagle for.  My new Fiesta is worthless past 2" of snow, but the 43 MPG is a blessing.

Yup, Eagles are great snow cars -- better than any 4WD pickup.   When I was up north, I'd buy a beater ruster Eagle every fall, and then sell it in the Spring.   They were a dime-a-dozen back then.
