I first want to thank you for sharing the info about our window cables.  You guess it I need the same medicine for my 1985 Eagle.
I've been to many salvage yards and around here the crush cars a lot so I'm unable to locate a cable to work with.  Your method looks
great and I think I can copy it satisfactory.  By chance can you locate a decent cable in your area I can work with?  If you can give me
the essentials, I can send you what it costs including shipping through Pay Pal.
Hope you can help me out.

This is one of the best posts I have ever seen from an electric window cable issue. The cables (OEM) are all but non-existing, but sure they can be found underground where Chrysler  buried all of the AMC parts in Kenosha Thank you so much.  ;D

How to make AMC Eagle power window cables

Eagle power windows cable.... Days ago I posted an information about how to make new cables using an speedometer cable from ATP but now I must ask for regrets, since I got this cable and it is very thin to fit and join the window motor to the window linkage. SORRY SO MUCH 😔

Hi, about the amc eagle power windows cable, after many time searching for a replacement, I discovered the speedometer "cut to fit" cable from ATP YC101, it has the same squared points in one border, and the other border, you must cut and fit a piece with the squared border.

It may be found at Rockauto, Amazon, SummitRacing
