i wanted it to over hang the windshield for my offroad lights the are 7" hids. also i left a ton of room over the back hatch.

The sealing will come later. (it's removable and fits into the back when not needed) For now, it's functional and light (made of aluminum). The tall rails will help keep things from bouncing out and straps will keep them attached. We should take a pic of both of us sitting in the rack! Maybe add Tom too! Lol! (on painkillers and having trouble sleeping due to torn rotator cuff)

For offroading its bad. trees will knock everything thatcis on it. or get stuck to it. i would never put lights on it for the same reason. however the trail i frequent has a swamp.

I don't think he has net access at the moment. Last I heard from him last night a tire came loose. and that was I-5 near OR border

well all in all i made it down here pretty good i vapor locked 3 times on the way down. but it was a fun drive down.

Told you that thing wouldn't last. Too many cracks in the sidewall and tread.
