I was looking at some old photos and I found a picture of my first and only brand new car...an isuzu in my case. It got me wondering if any members here have any photos of Eagles or any other AMC's that were taken when they were brand new.

83Eagle!

I had the original window sticker and a picture of the Eagle in my glove box when I got it.  However, a rainstorm on the way to Mitchell, SD one summer for a Dakota AMC Meet killed both those items (glove box filled with water).  I assume the picture was of my Eagle new or relatively new.

After our fiasco with the Toyota Corolla I got for my wife I believe I am done with Japanese vehicles.

Here's a picture I've posted before of my then brand new 87 Wrangler with my 81 SX/4. I didn't buy the Eagle new, I bought it in 84 but it only had a couple thousand miles so it was close. I still have the Jeep and wish I still had the Eagle.

When did you sell that car?
I sold it shortly after I got married, around '92 or '93. I sold it to my father in law with about 65,000 miles on it. He drove it back and forth to work over a hundred miles a day for several years. I think he ended up "junking it" with several hundred thousand miles on it.   :(
But as I said I still have the Jeep, it has 38,000 "happy" miles on it and will never see any daily driving duties as long as I can help it.
It has however, seen some fun off-road miles.

This is my parents' '81 Kammback when it was new. I learned to drive a 4-speed in this car the day they brought it home.
